Installing X-lite Softphone, V3. Top
1. Once installation is done, wait for the application to load. Locate the program icon on your Task Bar menu.
Or in an open window
2. Point your mouse to the program, right click and choose "SIP Account settings".
In some software versions you will have to press the F8 key for the same results.
3. In the account management screen click "Add" for a new account, or "Modify" to modify your existing account

My Skype user do not ring on the incoming calls Top
In order to insure proper receiving of all incoming calls from your
assigned PSTN number, to your Skype user; please perform either one of
the following on your Skype user:
1. Check the "Allow anyone to contact me" (Tools > Option > Privacy).
Or, 2. The Skype users we are currently using to send your call are
IsraelNumber{number}; please add them to your
Contacts list manually.
Note, This method might be of some disadvantage as we might add
IsraelNumberX users in the future, which you will need to add
manually.

How do I call-out from my skype, using the network service Top
1. Click on available Skype user IsraelNumber{number} (for ease of usage, we suggest you defined them as
"friend" in your Contact list).
2. You will hear a dial tone.
3. Dial your destination number, like you do today.
4. Wait for 3 seconds, or click "#" to signal you have finished dialing your number.
5. Enter your password/PIN number that was assigned to you when sign up time.
6. Call will be connected.
Service cost:
1. Out going calls will be charged and deducted from your online account.

How do I call skype users, from within the network Top
- To call a Skype user, you should dial 500 + Skype Username on any of the network devices.
For example, to call Skype user ABC, you should dial "500abc" from any of network registered extentions.
- On Xlite softphone you should use the Space key to switch between letters and numbers.

How to downgrade my Skype user, to include DTMF tones Top
1. Un install your current Skype version.
- Control Pannel > Add and remove program > select "Skype" > click "remove".
- You might be asked if you want to keep your History, click "yes".

I can't call out after installation Top
1. Does your softphone display show "Ready"? If it does, it might point to a temporarily server problem. Please try again in few minutes.
2. If your softphone display shows "Error", please check your account settings details (User name, Password, SIP server address)

What are the needed dialing rules when calling Israel, USA or other countries? Top
- To call a number in Israel, you should dial the Israeli area code + the number, for example 04+5567899 (for Haifa).
- To call a mobile number in Israel, you should dial the mobile carrier code + the number, for example 052+5567899 (for Cellcom).
- To call a number in the USA, you should dial 1 + the state code + the number, for example 1+305+ 2008898(for USA / FL).
- To call a number in any other country (other then USA), you should dial the country code + the city code + the number, for example 00+39+0016774 (for Australia, Melbourne).

I am a Vonage user, can I use their gateway to make and receive calls from your numbers? Top
you can receive the calls, at no extra cost over the fix monthly cost, to a device with our account settings on. If you currently have a Vonage box which you use, unless you can install our account settings on it, you can not accept incoming calls from us on it.

What charges would I pay for Call Forwarding to my mobile number? Top
Our service gives you the option to forward calls to a standard phone number (mobile/land). You can temporarily set the Call Forwarding by dialing *73 from your device; or, we can set a permanent Follow Me to your number if your device didn't answer.
In such a scenario, you will incur additional per-minute charges for calls being forwarded to this number. The exact per-minute cost of the forwarded calls can be viewed, by destinations at: http://www.israelnumber.com/intl_prices.asp.

How do I change my Voice Mailbox settings? Top
You can modify your Voice Mailbox settings by dialing *97 from your extension. To modified any of the VM (Voice Mailbox) settings via the web portal, please enter Voice Mailbox managment portal. Please access the web-portal using the Username & Password supplied to you at registration time.
Using this tool you can modify and view many details, including:
- Modify your password.
- Modify your greeting.
- View messages archive.
- Modify email forwarding address.
- Call recording options.
