What Are Feature Codes?
Feature codes are short dial sequences (typically starting with * or #) that you dial from your SIP phone to activate, deactivate, or toggle PBX functions — without logging into the portal. They let you control forwarding, pickup, recording, and other features directly from your desk phone or softphone.
All 31 codes below are built into every IsraelNumber account at no extra cost. Where applicable, Activate / Deactivate / Toggle variants are listed separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are feature codes free on IsraelNumber?
Yes. All 31 feature codes are included at no extra cost with every IsraelNumber virtual number plan. No activation or per-use fees apply.
Do feature codes work on softphones?
Yes. Feature codes work on any SIP-registered device — hardware desk phones, softphone apps (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android), and WebRTC clients.
Can I change my forwarding destination using a feature code?
Yes. Dial *72 followed by the destination number to activate Forward All Calls. Dial *73 to cancel. Similar codes exist for forward-on-busy and forward-on-no-answer.
What is the difference between blind transfer and attended transfer?
Blind transfer (##) sends the caller to another extension immediately without you speaking to that extension first. Attended transfer (*2) places the caller on hold, lets you speak to the transfer destination, and then completes the transfer — useful when you need to announce the caller first.
