What is a virtual number and how does it work?
A virtual number (DID) works like a regular phone number but without being tied to a physical line. Incoming calls can be forwarded to your mobile phone, PBX, SIP device, or voicemail — from anywhere in the world.

How do I choose and activate a virtual number?
Select a country, city, and number type (landline, mobile, toll-free), complete regulatory verification if needed, and set your call forwarding or SIP routing.

How many simultaneous calls can each number receive?
Standard landline DIDs support two concurrent calls. Toll-free numbers typically support more, and mobile numbers are usually limited to one incoming call. Additional channels can be added upon request.
Are there any limitations or penalties?
No penalties in normal use. Misuse or violation of KYC/TOS may result in restrictions or service termination.

5. SMS, verification codes & third-party services

Do virtual numbers support SMS?
SMS support depends on the country and number type. Many mobile numbers support inbound SMS and forwarding to email or dashboard.
Learn more: SMS Solutions .
Can I register these numbers with WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail?
Possibly, but not guaranteed. Acceptance is fully determined by the external service (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) and not by IsraelNumber.
Why might my number not be accepted by WhatsApp?
WhatsApp and similar services often block VoIP ranges or certain international prefixes due to internal anti-fraud policies, even if the number is valid.
Do you offer refunds if a number is rejected by WhatsApp?
No. Since third-party services control their own verification policies, acceptance cannot be guaranteed and refunds are not provided for this reason.
